Watermelon Seed Mix - 10+ Seeds

A mix of early watermelon varieties known as Watermelon Thirty-Three Heroes, specially selected and grown in the open field, offers a wide range of colors and patterns. The ball-shaped fruits come in striped, almost black, light green, and white varieties. These robust plants are compact, heat-resistant, and drought-resistant. The mix includes ultra-early to early ripe varieties, producing fruits ranging from 2 to 3 lbs to large ones weighing 7 to 13 lbs.

Instructions for planting: Using the paper towel technique, germinate the seeds by tearing a paper towel in half, moistening one half, and placing four or five seeds on it. Fold the paper towel over the seeds, then insert it into a clear, sandwich size zip-close bag. Seal the bag and place it in a location out of direct sunlight, maintaining room temperature. The bag acts as a mini greenhouse, preserving heat and moisture, with seeds sprouting in about five to seven days. Create mounds using a hoe, about 2 feet across and 8 to 12 inches high to aid root establishment and drainage. Make four 1-inch deep holes in each mound, placing one seed in each hole, covering lightly with soil, and ensuring not to disturb the seeds. Lightly pack the soil and water the seeds. Plant emergence typically occurs within the first fortnight.
